In Classical Osteopathy, your entire body is assessed and treated every time you see your therapist. From your pelvis up to your head and down to your feet. Treatments are tailored to you and may be different each and every time. This is because functional changes made during one treatment will alter therapeutic findings as treatments progress and your body begins to return to homeostasis. Osteopathic treatments help balance the body's systems by restoring motion to relieve pain, improve mobility, and stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. It is based on the understanding that when one part doesn't work well, the others have to work harder.

Ashley is a life long learner and lover of health, movement and the human body. Her interest started as a child watching her mother sufferer from debilitating chronic pelvic pain. This interest in health lead Ashley to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences followed by personal training, clinical research and oncology rehab. The pursuit of Osteopathy was a natural progression towards a desire to gain a deeper understanding of the human body and how we create and maintain health.

Ashley practices principle-based osteopathy under the core tenets of osteopathy: the body is a unit, structure and function are reciprocally interrelated and the body has the innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate.
